RAGTIME - NOW SHOWING!

After months of determined effort by a cast and crew exceeding 50 people, Ragtime opened in Corvallis's Majestic Theater this week to great success!

Capturing this event in photography has been a great privilege for us, and it has been very exciting to see how the production has come together. Below are some of our favorite shots:

PHOTOSHOP RETOUCHING

In honor of Photoshop's newly released version CS3, we have been going through some of our archived photos to see what shots may have been overlooked at first but hold subtle beauty that can be brought out with tasteful retouching.

Here is a great example of how Photoshop can draw out the best of a photo: in the 'before' image, a fairly mundane landscape that looked much better in person has not recorded very well on camera.



But after bringing out the highlights and detail, it makes a stunning black and white photo of a lone farmhouse in front of the view over Norway's picturesque mountain ranges:
