TWINS!

Aloke and Molly invited us to photograph their twin 9-month-olds, Arya and Prashant (a girl and a boy), this last week at their home in Corvallis. Babies can be very fun photography subjects (or not, if you catch them at naptime!) and these two were adorable and very interactive.




Asha was 12, and it was easy to see that she makes a great older sister!

CONGRATULATIONS MATT & ERICA

We loved being with Matt & Erica for their beautiful wedding this weekend! They had a traditional ceremony at 1st Presbyterian Church in Corvallis. The wedding party was great fun, especially with two ring-bearers bubbling over with enthusiasm! Here are a few shots of the crew getting ready...




The weather turned out perfectly for portraits outside the church and in Central Park!




They had a beautiful traditional ceremony...



Their reception was at the Albany Senior Center, and we were able to spend a few minutes just with the two of them outdoors. The late afternoon sunlight against fall foliage made a great background...



Then it was indoors for the first dance...


The boys made sure to get a good seat!


Kids can be so much fun -- this group was playing hide and seek during part of the reception...

FAMILY PORTRAIT TIME

In celebration of her parents' first visit to the west coast, Anne contacted us to plan a surprise family portrait session. We met up with them at a park in Corvallis and spent a great time together!





We are currently booking family portrait sessions in preparation for the holidays and family Christmas cards. Plan ahead and contact us in advance (before Thanksgiving!) to make sure that you have adequate time to send your photos to family and friends. Best wishes!

SHOOTING ALEX'S SENIOR PHOTOS

One thing we have really enjoyed with our seniors this year is capturing photos that reflect their interests and hobbies. Alex met up with us on the OSU campus for an hour last week, and we had a great time looking for unique photo opportunities. He's an avid skateboarder, and our efforts paid off!




He recently moved from Montana, where he played bass guitar in a band, so he brought that along too.



We have really enjoyed the variety of environments and locations that Corvallis and the Willamette Valley has to offer! Our seniors this year have been great fun to work with, and have stretched our creativity to come up with unique photos time and time again.

AMBER'S SENIOR PHOTO SHOOT

We've been offline the last week moving to a new house, and have been too busy to spend much time blogging lately! Now that things are settling down a bit, we have some fun pictures to share.

Amber was referred to us by another senior whose portrait we shot this year, and both are excited about journalism and reading. She particularly likes sci-fi and fantasy novels and is a big Harry Potter fan, so we stopped by Grassroots Bookstore and walked around downtown to find some fun shots.



The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but otherwise great for photos! We ended up with a good selection of indoor and outdoor shots.
