Hanson Country Inn Wedding in Corvallis, Oregon

Welcome to our anniversary posting! We started this blog two years ago this week and now here we are! A lot has happened and we're doing things we never expected to be doing with our photography -- and feel so blessed to be doing it. Thanks everyone for providing "blog fodder" for the past two years and for inviting us into your lives for a moment or two to capture your memories. It really is an honor.

On that note, we have some pictures from Adam & Makaira's wedding which we photographed the weekend before last. This wedding took place at The Hanson Country Inn which has to be one of our favorite Corvallis wedding venues. The place is amazing, as was Makaira. What a joy to photograph her wedding day. Here are a few of the images. (We had a hard time selecting our favorites if you can't tell.)

Makaira, her twin, and her mom getting ready for the day:

The groom and his men waiting for the big event:

We loved that Adam & Makaira agreed to see each other for the first time inside. The Hanson Country Inn has such classic architecture that it made for some fun and unique shots.

Their fantastic (and fun) wedding party:

Stunning? We think so.

The bride with her attendants watching the guests arrive. I've never seen a bride having so much fun watching people show up to be a part of her day. She was so excited by the faces of friends that she loved. You know a day is going to be great when the bride is excited to be with everyone who is important to her.

The Hanson Country Inn itself, and also surrounded by friends and family of the bride & groom:

Their first kiss as husband and wife:

After the cermony the bride & groom had some downtime to themselves as the guests were served drinks and hours d'ouvres. Jonathan caught this artistic shot as Adam and Makaira headed back outside to join the celebration.

The couple enjoyed their first dance . . .

. . . and then started up the buffet line.

Here are a couple of the important details. The flowers were done by our favorite florist, Heather at Thistle Dew Floral. (Per usual, she did an incredible job.)

The bride tossed the bouquet from their balcony, which always gives us lots of fun angles to shoot from!

We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Adam and Makaira's wedding! They were so much fun to be around and we wish them all the best as they are starting their life together.

Blessings!
