Limited Availability
Just a quick note to let you know that if you are wanting to book a senior, family or engagement portrait session in the month of September, we only have 2 available spots left! Otherwise, we will not have any openings until October.
After a busy wedding season, we're happy to wind down and relax a bit. However, now it's senior picture time and so there aren't very many dull moments. We have some fun family sessions coming up also in the next few weeks so stay tuned for that!
If you are a senior - it's important to book your photographer soon. It may feel like you have a whole month to get that taken care of, but photographers' schedules fill up quickly!
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hanson Country Inn Wedding in Corvallis, Oregon
Welcome to our anniversary posting! We started this blog two years ago this week and now here we are! A lot has happened and we're doing things we never expected to be doing with our photography -- and feel so blessed to be doing it. Thanks everyone for providing "blog fodder" for the past two years and for inviting us into your lives for a moment or two to capture your memories. It really is an honor.
On that note, we have some pictures from Adam & Makaira's wedding which we photographed the weekend before last. This wedding took place at The Hanson Country Inn which has to be one of our favorite Corvallis wedding venues. The place is amazing, as was Makaira. What a joy to photograph her wedding day. Here are a few of the images. (We had a hard time selecting our favorites if you can't tell.)
Makaira, her twin, and her mom getting ready for the day:

The groom and his men waiting for the big event:

We loved that Adam & Makaira agreed to see each other for the first time inside. The Hanson Country Inn has such classic architecture that it made for some fun and unique shots.

Their fantastic (and fun) wedding party:

Stunning? We think so.

The bride with her attendants watching the guests arrive. I've never seen a bride having so much fun watching people show up to be a part of her day. She was so excited by the faces of friends that she loved. You know a day is going to be great when the bride is excited to be with everyone who is important to her.

The Hanson Country Inn itself, and also surrounded by friends and family of the bride & groom:

Their first kiss as husband and wife:

After the cermony the bride & groom had some downtime to themselves as the guests were served drinks and hours d'ouvres. Jonathan caught this artistic shot as Adam and Makaira headed back outside to join the celebration.

The couple enjoyed their first dance . . .

. . . and then started up the buffet line.

Here are a couple of the important details. The flowers were done by our favorite florist, Heather at Thistle Dew Floral. (Per usual, she did an incredible job.)

The bride tossed the bouquet from their balcony, which always gives us lots of fun angles to shoot from!

We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Adam and Makaira's wedding! They were so much fun to be around and we wish them all the best as they are starting their life together.
Blessings!

The Ranch on Beaver Creek Wedding Pictures
We had the privilege of shooting our 8.8.08 wedding at at The Ranch at Beaver Creek. Megan and Michael had their day planned out to perfection. Gorgeous weather and a fabulous location. What more could you want on your wedding day? Besides the chocolate covered strawberries (which were delicious, btw), of course! Here are some of the images from their day.

Wedding at Beazell Memorial Forest
Charles & Cindy were married last Saturday at Beazell Memorial Forest in Kings Valley, Oregon. Surrounded by family and friends who loved them, they said their vows and committed to a lifetime together. It was a beautiful ceremony at a beautiful location.

Cindy's son straining against the bow-tie. Ha!

Before the ceremony we were able to grab a few shots of Cindy & Charles.

Her choice of flowers and colors was very nice. I liked the cheerful looking color combination!

Cindy's sons walked her down the aisle and gave their blessing to the new marriage.

A few shots from the ceremony. The first few pictures are of the two of them making their vows to one another. I love the tenderness which is so clearly displayed on Cindy's face in these photos.

A unique and (VERY) fun touch to their day was having a friend of Cindy's play Amazing Grace on the bagpipes as they recessed down the aisle. It was amazing. We loved it!!

The barn at Beazell was decorated in a very classy manner, not unlike the bride & groom themselves.

The first dance . . .

We were so blessed to be a part of this special ceremony and celebration. Charles & Cindy, we pray blessings upon you two as you embarked on this new journey together. We are glad to know you and look forward to more face to face communication in the very near future.

Stephaine+Josh 07.19.08
Rewind a couple of weeks to an AMAZING wedding that we shot on July 19th. You'll remember Stephanie and Josh's engagement shoot that we did back in April. Finally their wedding day arrived! What a day! Seriously, we had so many photos that we liked that we're posting extra. Just sit back and enjoy.
Kudos to Heather at Thistle Dew Farms for her stunning floral and event design work. I know we've gone on and on about Heather before, but, seriously people, she's does amazing work. We are in awe.

We loved being with Stephanie & Josh on their wedding day and celebrating with family and friends who loved them dearly. It was a tremendous affair and every detail was just lovely.
Blessings, S&J, as you begin your married life!
